This is a slab of Wagyu beef imported from Kobe, Japan. Wagyu is the type of cow. This is the true Kobe beef, where they feed the cow barley for something like 900 days. Only about 10 cows of this caliber per month are imported into the United States. The beef is so well marbled with fat that it requires special handling because it will melt upon contact with anything higher than room temperature. No seasoning is ever required except for maybe some French Fleur De Sel (sea salt). Melts in your mouth. No need for a knife.
