Bought this iPod a couple weeks ago to replace my 3rd generation 20GB iPod, and am really happy with it. I haven't seen the Zune or Sansa in person, but I can't see how those can compare to Apple's latest iPod. This thing is pretty sweet. Great sound quality, pretty good video display, and a good battery life (12 hours more or less).

yea, like how its significantly thinner than the 60GB models. If you want a good case, get the plastic kind that covers the entire ipod with a silicone cover over the wheel. Like the one I have.
Yeah, I got iSkin's evo3 case in black color, it's a silicone case, with a plastic front to protect the screen. Works well in keeping this scratch-free. Is that the one you have?
Not the same one I got, but as long as it fully covers the ipod it's a good product. The plastic casing for the current gen ipods are highly scratchable and aren't as scratch-proof as the aluminum casing found on the new generation minis. Mine was from some no name company in Hong Kong on Temple Street. Buy from apple.com and sign up as a student to ge the student discount (which is basically retail w/o the tax)and you get free engraving!
